Schools
Bud Umbrella currently provides reflexology to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties within four schools and one after school club. The schools are Lilian Baylis Technology School, Beormund Special Primary School, Sunnyhill Primary School, Fenstanton Primary School and Myatts Fields After School. All these schools are in areas of high depravation and this is reflected in the problems a lot of the children and young people have.
Voluntary Organisations
Bud Umbrella also works in partnership with other voluntary organisations providing a mixture of different services when required. These organisations include Lambeth Mencap, Lambeth Crossroads and Lambeth Woman’s Aid.
Currently we are waiting for funding to expand our services to work in partnership with a number of other organisations including Hightrees. These groups are interested in taking a holistic approach and working with parents/carers and their children/young people to help with psychological difficulties that their communities face.
